Last December 2010, my colleagues and I went to Imperial Buffet for our Christmas lunch. Imperial Buffet has different kinds of food to choose from: Chinese, Japanese, Canadian, and other cultural cuisines. There are lots of deserts, cakes, and other fresh seafoods. Some foods that I can recall: Corn, Pork Sausages, Sushi,  Seaweeds, Spareribs, Fried Chicken, Fish, Siomai, Dumplings, Shrimps, Udon, and other typical chinese food. The cost is $10.99 per head but price may vary. It is reasonable though. No time limits unlike other buffets. Overall, its yummy!

Apple Magic Mouse

I recently got an Apple Magic Mouse as a gift from my siblings last Christmas 2010. Yahoo!

Magic Mouse is the world’s first multi-touch mouse as advertised by Apple. It is a button-less mouse. The mouse itself is the button. This mouse connects to the Mac via bluetooth wireless technology. It uses two AA batteries. It has a powerful laser-tracking engine that is more sensitive and responsive than the normal optical mouse we see in the market. You can use this mouse on every surface – tables, your skin, bed, and many more.

Happy New Year 2011!

Happy New Year guys! Another new year to start with. New year is like a counter that resets back to zero. Thus, we have the thing called New Year’s Resolution. It is a new life to begin. My NYR would be to lose weight. Ha! But let’s see how successful NYR is.

Recent research shows that while 52% of participants in a resolution study were confident of success with their goals, only 12% actually achieved their goals. Men achieved their goal 22% more often when they engaged in goal setting, (a system where small measurable goals are being set, such as, a pound a week, instead of saying “lose weight”), while women succeeded 10% more when they made their goals public and got support from their friends.

I hope to be successful with my NYR. Ha! 2010 has been good to me somehow. I hope 2011 will be better.

Once again, Happy New Year to All of Us!

Nokia C3

Nokia C3, cheapest QWERTY phone as they describe it. It has 3 color options: Slate Grey, Hot Pink, and Golden White. Nokia C3 is wifi-enabled. You can access to WiFi with this phone. You can also listen to your favourite radio station by still plugging-in your earphone. The internal memory of this phone is 55mb. You can store up to 8gb of memory(micro sd). Battery life is up to 20 days if minimal use. Talk time is up to 7 hrs. UI(User Interface) is S40 6th Edition.

Nokia C3 has a 2mp camera attached at the back. The quality is not so good when shooting indoors. I haven’t tried shooting outdoors yet. It is nice that you can edit your pictures from the phone. You can rotate and flip, crop, add effects, warp, add frame, add clipart, add text, auto enhancement, brightness and contrast, and adjust the colour.

The wifi is good. I don’t have any problem with it so far. But for some people, they are experiencing problems with their wifi connection. But some said that it just need a firmware upgrade. The latest firmware is 4.60.

If you’re a Facebook and Twitter addict, you can easily access them via Nokia Communities. Or you can download Opera Mini from the Ovi Store. Ovi Store is like App Store of Apple. If you want to login to your Yahoo! Messenger account or any other messenger account, you can try the EBuddy app. EBuddy lets you sign-in multiple accounts with just one click. But of course, you need to sign up an account from them. Another popular app is Snaptu, its like a 10-in-1 app. They have the Facebook, Twitter, weather, News Feed, Picasa, Sports app, and many more. All apps that I mentioned are free in Ovi Store.
