Introducing the Phablet baby.

April xx, 2012 is the birthday of my youngest baby, the Galaxy Note. He’s a premature baby because he’s supposed to be out on May 26. But because I couldn’t wait for him to get out from my e-womb, so a baby is born! Hooray! Lol. Enough of the baby thing.

I was a Blackberry user for 7 months and switching to Galaxy Note needs time to adjust. I used to take pictures with my nephews everyday using my BB phone. It has a dedicated camera key which makes me easy to take a snapshot with them. But in Galaxy note, it is hard for me to take a shot using one hand since there’s no dedicated key. You need to tap the screen to make a shot, which is inconvenient. But with the Note’s 8mp with LED flash, I wouldn’t complain. One of BB’s features that‘s missing in the Note is the LED notification. In Blackberry, there’s an app called BeBuzz. It’s an app that assigns custom LED light colors to a certain person. So if I set the color orange to person A, when person A texts, the LED notification will appear orange. The Note can’t do that. The phone runs Android and it’s better than iOS. haha!

I choose Galaxy Note because it is better than the current iPhone(i’m an Apple Fan too.) and I want to try Android for a change. This baby has a stylus called S-Pen. You can show off your talent. It is made by Wacom therefore it is also compatible with other Wacom devices. It has a Super Amoled screen display which is equal to iPhone’s Retina display. I really can’t compare the two because i have no experience with iPhone. The screen of the Galaxy Note is made of Corning’s Gorilla Glass therefore it’s tough but not scratch resistant though. The battery is good with using a customized Gingerbread rom. It lasts for a day or more. The camera is great. It has macro which is a plus for me. It shoots 1080p videos which is considered HD.

Galaxy Note is described as Phablet because device is a hybrid of a smartphone and a tablet. The Note has a 5.3 inches screen and looks big for a phone. But who cares, i love this baby.

Love and Short Excitement

Love can be compared to a short excitement.

Short excitement is that you are excited about something that will soon happen but after a short while, you end up finding out that it is not going to happen. Before it ruins our day, we just have to be thankful that for a short while, we were excited about something.

Just like in love, love doesn’t last long if only one person is serious about it. You two might be in love but if one person is not happy anymore, there is no love. So we just have to be thankful that for once, we were in love and happy.

The only difference is that short excitement is short and can happen at a short period of time and will be able to recover and move on in a short time. While love takes time to build and forever(not really) to move on.

P.S. I don’t know if there’s a term for “short excitement”.

Tale of a Bird

This is a story about Lucky, a Canadian bird who only wanted love. Lucky has a master who is a bird breeder and a veterinarian. Lucky was special to the master because it has a unique characteristic that can only be found in this bird. The master gave lucky a special treatment that made her fall in love with her master. I don’t know what they were thinking but i know that it is called forbidden love. Bird-master relationship? That is crazy.

Anyway, their relationship didn’t last long. The master became busy with other things which made Lucky feel abandoned. After that, Lucky found out her master found the love of his life. She was hurt big time. But she slowly accepted that a bird and a master is an impossible shit kind of love. Master left lucky inside the cage for months. Lucky started acting crazy like she was drugged.

While recovering, she got a new mate. The name is Wario. Wario is also a Canadian bird but came from a different city. He is friendly and lively. He always keep Lucky smiling. They looked great together. They made dreams together. Lucky was so happy then. Few days later, Lucky got sick. The master went back and checked Lucky. She was diagnosed with Birophrenia. A bird disease which mainly causes hallucinations. Lucky realized that Wario was just a hallucination. Everything that happened, didn’t actually happen. But she was thankful for the sickness because without it, she won’t be happy for a while.

Lucky again is now in her cage alone.

What it’s like to solve a Puzzle

For detectives, it is an accomplishment. You will be honored if you solved a puzzle or rather a mystery/case. Result = you will be happy with life for a job well done.

For kids, if they completed a jigsaw puzzle, it is an accomplishment too. The feeling of wasting so much hours just to complete it is priceless and it helps them develop their cognitive skills(google it). Lol.

For young adult like me, we usually waste our time not with mystery nor jigsaw puzzles but with love because love is a wonderful feeling shared by two human being. A puzzle in love is like the feeling of a confusion of one thing that makes you want to find out WHY. Example: “He is cold. WHY?”, that’s a puzzle. Lol.

It is so heartbreaking to solve a puzzle if you use your mind and heart to solve it especially when the result is bad or unexpected. What’s even worst is that when one puzzle is solved, you will still want to solve more puzzles. I mean you still want to know more as if you are not contented with one puzzle. Puzzles suck, right? No, love is. XD

Happy new year to you and me, and everyone in WWW. I know i’m late for about 11 days now. I’ve been busy lately with work and some stuffs. Anyway, 2011 had been a bad year for me but this year of the Dragon will fire out all the bad lucks we had during the previous year. It is time to move on and enjoy life. Live life to the fullest. Blackberry Curve 3G 9300

Recently purchased a BB Curve 9300 for myself. Why? I don’t know. It just happened.

This phone is the entry level Blackberry phone. If you’re a starter like me, you can try this one first. The OS is OS 6. Higher models like the Bold and Torch use this OS too. So Curve users are lucky to be able to experience OS 6.

The apps I have in this phone are: Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, AOL. Because these are the only apps that I can use with my current plan. Not so much good apps unlike in iPhone.

Blackberry Messenger or BBM, I don’t use it that much as I have only about 4 friends and we are in different timezone. What I like about BBM is that you can send pictures and voice messages for free(included in the BB plan).

I don’t download/have games because i got my “Pouch” which has better games.

So this phone is mainly for social networking and text text text.

Nokia C3 and BB Curve 9300

The Nokia C3 is bigger in size. C3 has its own period button unlike Curve which you still need to press alt+m. Both has a 2megapixel camera. Both wifi-enabled. C3 wins when it comes to battery life. Curve only lasts 2 days. C3 lasts for 4 days.

That’s all I can think for now.
